Privacy Policy - Samurai Idle
Effective date: 2026-07-26Studio Junebug ("we", "us") makes the mobile game Samurai Idle (the "App"). This policy explains what information the App handles, why, and your choices. The App is playable without signing in. It shows optional rewarded ads (you choose to watch one for an in-game bonus), and, only if you allow it, an advertising partner may use an advertising identifier - both explained below.
Information we handle:
Play securely: Your progress is saved on your device and backed up to our servers automatically (cloud save) so you can restore it on a new device. It's tied to an account identifier (below) - there is no login.
Account identifier - when you first play, the App creates a identifier tied to your Apple account, so your progress, purchases, and leaderboard entry follow you across devices without signing in. We do not collect your name or email.
Purchases: if you buy an in-app item, we record the transaction (what was bought, and Apple's transaction identifier) so we can grant it, restore it, and honor refunds. Payment itself is processed by Apple - we do not receive your card or payment details.
Leaderboard + the display name you choose: if you appear on a leaderboard, the display name you choose and your score are shown publicly to other players. Because this name is public, please do not put your real name or any personal information in it.
Advertising: the App shows optional, rewarded ads only - you choose to watch an ad in exchange for an in-game bonus. There are no forced, banner, pop-up, or auto-playing ads. Ads are served by a third-party advertising partner - Google AdMob or AppLovin - which may collect a device / advertising identifier and data about the ads you see and how you use the App, and use it to select and measure ads. On first launch you are asked (Apple's App Tracking Transparency) whether to allow this - you can decline, and the App stays fully playable. See their privacy policies: and .
Device motion is used only to animate the on-screen water effect, on your device, in real time. It is never collected or transmitted.
We do not collect your real name, contacts, photos, precise location, health data, or browsing activity. We do not track you across other apps or websites unless you allow it through the advertising prompt above; if you decline, we do not.
Why we handle it:
To run the App - save and restore your progress, deliver and restore your purchases, show leaderboards, and keep the game working - and to serve the optional rewarded ads you choose to watch. We do not sell your personal information to data brokers.
Who processes it:
Apple - in-app purchases and the account identifier that lets your progress follow your Apple account. See Apple's privacy policy.
Supabase - securely hosts your account, cloud game saves, purchase records, and leaderboard data on our behalf.
Google AdMob or AppLovin - serves the optional rewarded ads and, if you allow tracking, uses an advertising identifier to select/measure them (privacy policies linked above).
We do not sell or rent your information. Sharing a device/advertising identifier with our advertising partner for ads may be treated as a "sale" or "share" under some laws; you can opt out by declining the tracking prompt. Otherwise we share data only with the providers above to operate the App, or if legally required.
Keeping and deleting your data:
You can delete your online account at any time from Options → Account → Delete Account.
This deletes your cloud save, your leaderboard entry, and your account record. We retain purchase/transaction records (tied to your Apple account, not your name) for fraud and purchase restoration. Your on-device save is your own and stays on your device until you delete the App. We keep account data only for as long as your account exists, plus any period required for legal or fraud-prevention reasons.
Children:
The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes:
We may update this policy; we will change the effective date above and, for material changes, note it in the App.
